Our workshops were designed to give prospective students the opportunity to be trained in the process of media production.
Covering key skills such as:
* Camera Operations
* Story-boarding
* Location shooting
* Directing
* Editing & Post-production
It was then time to take their skills to the next level by giving them an insight into the practical application media production. Our young team were challenged with a client brief for a small gym chain. The task was to create a promotional short showcasing the gyms facilities and enticing new customers to take up gym membership.
Many ideas were brainstormed and the young people came up with some very creative filming ideas. We were lucky enough to have a good contact at a small gym based in London Bridge. They were kind enough to give our students access to their facilities in order to create their promotional video.
Using their newly acquired skills they used a variety of shot types, camera angles and video editing effects to create an excellent final piece.
