KORI ARTS was formed in 2002 in Hornsey in the Borough of Haringey. This diverse programme of arts focuses on engaging 8-17 year olds. We explore issues and work towards the young people gaining an understanding of diverse historical and current issues, empowering them with a global vision. Our young people also gain many opportunities for self – development through training, teaching and performing and presenting experiences.
We take part in Partnership work with many organisations; this allows us to broaden our activities to include environmental education, youth mentoring development, work experience programmes and sport. We also run Duke Of Edinburgh, V Awards and Arts Award programmes that give young people Accreditation for their achievements and commitment.
Art forms explored through multi-arts sessions so far are listed below and we also visit exhibitions, plays, attend talks, and travel to places of interest extensively.
