WHAT SERVICES DOES YOUR ORGANISATION PROVIDE?
If it is difficult for you to speak or write in English, an advocate can assist you. An advocate can interpret for you during your consultation with doctors, nurses and other community health service staff.
 
Advocates will ensure that doctors, nurses and pother health service staff fully understand your needs and that they provide you with the best information, advice and treatment available.
 
Advocates work in GP surgeries, community health clinics and visit people at home with health service staff such as health visitors.
 
Advocates are also available for the physically and sensory disabled.
 

HOW CAN I ACCESS THESE SERVICES/ACTIVITIES?
Anyone can make an appointment to see an advocate especially users, community health services staff, family and friends.

You will be seen by appointment only. However, we will do our best to help in emergencies.

COST TO SERVICE USERS LANGUAGES SPOKEN
(£) Free of charge Our aim is to provide any language requested.
We regularly provide Bengali, Gujarati, Urdu,
Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, Albanian, Polish,
Russian, Vietnamese, French and British Sign Language (BSL).
